August 4 marks 18 years that Purrfect Pet Sitting has been in business! I can’t even believe it’s been that long….ALREADY! How did that happen?
The business has come a long way in eighteen years. I went from being a solo operator to hiring employees around year 8. I honestly think had I not hired employees I probably wouldn’t still be doing this.
The pet sitting industry has a high rate of burnout because of the hours involved.
Pet sitters work seven days a week, 365 days per year and rarely get take a break.
I’ve been blessed with some incredible clients and an even better team of employees. Without all of you this business wouldn’t have made it. For that I’m incredibly grateful.
We’ve had the pleasure of serving over a thousand clients and several thousands of pets over the years.
We’re proud to be the longest operating pet sitting service in Rensselaer County!
Even now, 18 years later I’m surprised at just how many people have no idea pet sitting even exists.

I know I can go away and not have to worry about my furball. I think sometimes he wished I stayed away longer!!!. You also took great care of my previous critter who was a ripe old age.
